Robotic Surgery

Robotic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital is a minimally-invasive surgical option that allows surgeons to operate through small, keyhole-sized incisions using enhanced imagery and incredibly precise movements.

Benefits of Robotic Surgery

Until recently, for patients who have just been diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery, options included traditional surgery with a large open incision or laparoscopy, which uses small incisions, but is often limited to simple procedures.

Robotic surgery extends the surgeon’s capabilities by providing a three-dimensional view of the operating field and improves access to the surgical site through small, keyhole-sized incisions that eliminate the need for large incisions.
