About the High Risk Breast Cancer Program
For most women, having annual mammograms and breast examinations may be adequate to ensure early detection of breast cancer. Women at high risk of developing breast cancer because of family or personal history, a more comprehensive early detection program is necessary.
Our program combines advanced technology with expert clinical assessment for earlier detection of breast cancer in high-risk women.
Our comprehensive approach includes:

- Imaging studies as indicated
- Formal genetic counseling when appropriate
- Risk reduction strategies including healthy behaviors, medications or surgeries.
