Mission and Vision
The mission of the Surgery Center is to be the provider of choice for high-quality, low-cost ambulatory surgical services while maintaining high customer satisfaction to patients and physicians through a stable, motivated, and caring staff.
The Surgery Center’s vision is to be the first choice of patients and surgeons for ambulatory surgical procedures in the Dayton and surrounding area by demonstrating high value, low cost, and convenience.
Patient satisfaction surveys appear to bear out the Surgery Center’s success at realizing their stated mission and vision, for patients consistently rate the Surgery Center above add 3.94 on a 4 point scale; consistently ranking in the 90th percentile.
In addition to wide-ranging clinical procedures, the Surgery Center promotes the concept of holistic health by enhancing the mind, body, and spirit. The Surgery Center emphasizes the combination of medical science with “hotel-like comforts” and personalized service, including:
- Private rooms for pre- and post-operative care, with ample room for families to join patients both before and after surgery
- Fast, friendly registration procedures
- Financial planning to coordinate financial arrangements prior to surgery if necessary and ensure that patients are aware of any co-payments or deductibles
- Pre-surgery nursing consultation in the patient’s private room to put the patient and family at ease
- Careful monitoring in the post-surgical recovery area the day of surgery
- Follow-up calls by a nurse to check on patient progress and recovery
- Free valet parking
In addition, the Surgery Center is licensed to house up to five patients overnight, if necessary, with overnight patients receiving individualized care.
At our Surgery Center facility, patients don’t have to navigate the mega-complex hospital. In every aspect of the continuum of care, from initial reception to dealing with the billing department, we provide one-on-one, hands-on service. Rather than separate departments that deal with billing, scheduling, and so forth, our Surgery Center provides all services in a consolidated, convenient setting, with a personal touch.
