Jon and Amy Henry live in South Charleston, Ohio; but when it came to making the decision about where to delivery their baby, the nearly 30 mile distance from Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton didn’t deter them.  In fact, the Henrys passed 3 other hospitals, entrusting The Family Birthing Center at Good Sam with the delivery of all three of their children.

When asked why they chose Good Sam, their response came easily.  It was the obvious choice.  After taking a tour of The Family Birthing Center at the advice of their obstetrician, Dr. Kamlesh Sanghvi, MD, the Henry’s were impressed.  The comfortable home-like atmosphere seemed like the perfect place to begin as a family. The rooms were so nice, and the people were great.  And, since no two births are exactly alike, the flexibility and choice of birthing options was a big factor.   And, as soon as they had delivered their first child at Good Sam, they were sure that they had made the right decision. 

Sharing the highlights of their experience, the Henry’s explained, “We loved the staff.  We got to know them by name.  They stayed with us through the duration, walking us through, step-by-step, what was happening.  They did whatever they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable…it really felt like we were at home.”
