Defining Diabetes Seminar

Free Diabetes Seminar To Take Place at Trotwood Public Library.

DAYTON, OHIO, January 3, 2012 – Diabetes is a common disease that causes long-term damage to the body, especially the heart and blood vessels.  In 2010, it was estimated that 1 out of 10 Americans were living with diabetes, and those numbers are expected to triple in the next 40 years.  To learn more about this epidemic, join Rebecca Harold, MS, RN, Certified Nurse Educator from the Samaritan Diabetes Center, when she discusses different aspects of diabetes...from recognizing symptoms and prevention to current research on better ways to live with diabetes.

This is a free event and is open to all ages.  No registration required.
