Kay Tormey Will Be Retiring

April 23, 2010 –  After many years in a leadership role with Samaritan Health Foundation, Kay Tormey will be retiring.  Kay guided a Hospital department into a separately incorporated foundation in the mid 70s.  She is responsible for many giving programs which have become the signatures of Samaritan Health Foundation including Good Sam Babies, the community and employee Friends programs and Legacy Circle.
 
More recently Kay was instrumental in working with major donors for gift support to the Beachler Nursing University, the Emergency Department and the Heart and Vascular Hospital.
 
We wish Kay the best as she transitions from her role as Foundation President to one as community volunteer and more time to garden.
