Dayton Heart Institute presents Aaron Boone and Hal McCoy for a Heart-to-Heart

DAYTON, OHIO, January 12, 2010 – The Dayton Heart Institute, an affiliate of Good Samaritan Hospital, will present MLB Hall of Fame baseball journalist, Hal McCoy, and former Cincinnati Reds third baseman, Aaron Boone, Saturday, January 30 at 8 p.m. at the Dayton Marriott for an evening of stories from their legendary careers.

Recently retired McCoy developed health problems six years ago that almost cost him his career, while Boone had open heart surgery in 2009 and returned to Major League Baseball just five months later. These two baseball greats have formed a unique bond between writer and player.
