About The Heart Institute of Dayton
The Heart Institute of Dayton (THID) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to cardiac education and prevention programs for physicians, healthcare professionals and the public. Created following the acquisition of Dayton Heart Hospital by Good Samaritan Hospital in May 2008. HID’s mission is to diminish the impact of heart disease on the people of the Dayton region, first through educational opportunities in heart and vascular practice for physicians and healthcare professionals, and then through public education and outreach.
