Women’s Services
As a woman, you have different health care needs at different stages of your life. But while your actual needs may change, one thing remains constant throughout your lifetime: the need for education, information, and opportunities to enhance your health.
Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) Women’s Services provides comprehensive services to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of women of all ages. Our holistic approach combines education, prevention, and screenings with expert treatment and compassionate support.
Our services include:
Lifestages
Lifestages is nationally recognized for excellence in women’s health care. The group’s commitment to caring for women of all ages means that throughout life’s journey, they will help keep you well.
As part of their commitment to providing the most up-to-date, comprehensive care, Lifestages physicians offer minimally invasive procedures including robotic hysterectomies and pelvic floor reconstruction. Using state-of-the-art robotic technology results in a shorter hospital stay, less pain, faster recovery, and less scarring. Pelvic floor reconstruction relieves symptoms caused by pelvic organ prolapse. This procedure takes half the time of traditional surgery. Patients typically experience less pain and a quicker recovery.
In addition to offering traditional OB/GYN care, Lifestages focuses on women’s special health needs such as heart, bone, and breast health. Lifestages physicians and certified nurse practitioners work in close collaboration and have access to many GSH services, including:
Other services offered at Lifestages help with:
- Menopause
- Osteoporosis
- Bladder Control/Incontinence
