- Community Stroke Screenings include:Blood Pressures,Total Cholesterol/HDL(good cholesterol)/Blood Sugar fingerstick test, Listening to the blood vessels in your neck,stroke risk assessments and counseling with a stroke nurse for those found at risk.No fasting required.

Registration Required - Living with Asthma. Asthma Retreat
- 9:00AM - 12:00PM, Good Samaritan North Health Center
- This free retreat is for those who live with severe asthma or has a loved one that is affected by asthma and severe asthma. Rajesh Patel, MD and Anuj Goyal, MD will discuss severe asthma and conventional medical treatment options as well as discuss new trends and procedures being performed at Good Samaritan Hospital. We will also hear from a patient that suffered from severe asthma for over 60 years and her positive outcome from the bronchial thermoplasty procedure. A light breakfast will be served. - Defining Diabetes

- Diabetes is a common disease that causes long-term damage to the body, especially the heart and blood vessels. In 2010, it was estimated that 1 out of 10 Americans were living with diabetes, and those numbers are expected to triple in the next 40 years. To learn more about this epidemic, join Rebecca Harold, MS, RN, Certified Nurse Educator from the Samaritan Diabetes Center, when she discusses different aspects of diabetes...from recognizing symptoms and prevention to current research on better ways to live with diabetes.

- Find out about the care and characteristics of your wonderful newborn. The newborn's appearance and behaviors as well as care basics such as bathing, dipering and cord care will be reviewed. Learn about infant safety, SIDS prevention and what to do if baby is sick. Infant care book is included with this class

- Basic Computers 1 and 2
- 9:00AM - 11:00AM, Good Samaritan North Health Center
- The first class will explain how to turn a computer on and off, explain the basic functions of the mouse, illustrate the foundation of the Windows
program, and get students comfortable with exploring on a computer. The second class includes a review and progresses to understanding the
functions of the keys on the keyboard (not typing). Students will learn how to input information into the computer, correct typing errors, insert and
delete text, and more. Includes 2 classes on 2 consecutive Wednesdays
