The inability to breathe well greatly reduces a person’s quality of life. Breathing problems are caused by a multitude of conditions, all of which are attended to by the Respiratory Therapists at Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) and Dayton Heart and Vascular Hospital (DHVH). The Respiratory Care Department provides full-service care, including therapeutic, diagnostic, rehabilitation, critical care services, emergency services, and high-risk delivery and stabilization services. Our onsite department is always available to meet the needs of infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. On average, we serve more than 700,000 patients a year.
