The many surgical disciplines at Good Samaritan Hospital have just one goal: to help patients improve their quality of life. Our physicians use a wide variety of surgical procedures to diagnose conditions, treat illnesses and injuries, and manage pain.
We perform both traditional open surgery and minimally-invasive procedures such as:
- Endoscopic surgery (including orthopedic arthroscopic procedures)

Good Samaritan Hospital performs more than 6,700 procedures each year. We have 13 surgical suites, including two additional suites in The Family Birthing Center. More than 50 surgeons perform procedures, working in many different disciplines. These include:
Robotic Gynecologic Epicenter
With our long history as a teaching facility, Good Samaritan Hospital has always been, and continues to be, committed to leading-edge technology and forging paths to new and better ways of providing clinical training and quality patient care. Good Samaritan Hospital is proud to be one out of several Robotic Gynecologic Epicenters in Ohio.
Physicians from many parts of the United States have visited the Epicenter to observe cases and learn surgical techniques. The Robotic Epicenter is our newest milestone in fulfilling our mission to our community, as well as to health care opportunities in Southwest Ohio.

Our highly-trained surgical services staff members are certified to work in the surgery suites, with years of experience caring for patients who require surgery. After surgery, the comprehensive health care team consisting of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, and patient care techs are trained to provide specialized, compassionate care to the surgical patient.
