Hospital Elder Life Program
Hospital Elder Life is a national program that aims to prevent delirium (a sudden state of confusion or change in mental state) and loss of functioning during your hospitalization.
We offer this program to inpatients at Miami Valley Hospital.

Senior adults can choose an affordable lifestyle of independence on the campus of SpringMeade Retirement Community near historic Tipp City, Ohio. Options include:

- Marigold House, with family-style living and assistance with daily living
Premier Health’s extended care facilities offer a level of care beyond outpatient and at-home care. We provide long-term skilled nursing care and memory care, as
well as transitional, short-term rehabilitation and recovery care. Locations include:

You’ll find senior-friendly emergency care in Atrium Medical Center’s Senior Emergency Center. Instead
of the bright lights, loud noises, and fast pace that can make a hospital emergency department confusing and irritating for seniors, Atrium’s Senior Emergency Center has been designed to help you and your family feel more comfortable. The center
features:
- Eight private rooms exclusively for senior patients
- Senior-friendly amenities: Fall monitors, additional railings, non-skid floors, hearing assistance, soft lighting, soothing colors and reduced noise levels
- Separate waiting room for seniors’ families
- Staff who are specially trained in listening, assessing and addressing the needs of older adults
