The Education Channel

The Heart Institute of Dayton is proud to announce a new online resource for cardiovascular education, The Heart Institute of Dayton Education Channel. Created in partnership with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, this website offers the opportunity to earn FREE CME credits by watching past Heart Institute of Dayton lectures and courses.

CME credit for individual topics will be awarded upon successful completion of all requirements as described in the topic's instruction file.   Disclaimer:  You may not receive double credit if you attended the live Heart Institute of Dayton lecture.

Instructions for non-WSU faculty, staff, residents, and students:

Go to the Wright State University Pilot Online Learning Gateway

  • Select “External Registration” in the Login window
  • Select “I do not have a username and password” and click “Submit”
  • Select SOM CME The Heart Institute of Dayton Education Channel
  • Fill out the registration form
  • Note: A username and password will appear in a window. Do not login with this information. An email will be sent to you immediately with further instructions.
  • Check your email for the login information and follow the directions in the email.             

Instructions for WSU faculty, staff, and students with known login information:

Go to the Wright State University Pilot Online Learning Gateway

  • Select “External Registration” in the Login window
  • Select “I have a username and password” and click “Submit”
  • Enter your campus username and password
  • Select SOM CME The Heart Institute of Dayton Education Channel
  • Fill out the registration form
