Joe Theismann Comes to Dayton Through The Heart Institute of Dayton’s Program
DAYTON, OHIO, March 4, 2011 – The Schear Family Heart In Sports Community Conversation Series presented by The Heart Institute of Dayton will feature former NFL and Notre Dame quarterback, Joe Theismann, and the University of Dayton Hall-of-Fame football coach, Mike Kelly. Stories from their legendary careers will be shared Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Sinclair Community College Ponitz Center.
Joe and Mike will swap memories of the game, both on the field and in the booth, and discuss the importance of heart health, specifically the little-known condition Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm or AAA. Joe is the National spokesperson for findtheAAAnswers.com. AAA is when the large blood vessel that supplies blood to the abdomen, pelvis, and legs becomes abnormally large or balloons outward.
The event is casual and appropriate for families. Tickets are $10 (parking included) and can be purchased by phone at (937) 734-8660 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
